Rainbow gets better and better!!
i'm really happy for her... after a long fight!! trying all my might to do anything to cure her... even when everyone thinks i'm doing too much, all i do is in vain... but i proof them wrong!
and i'm glad that i reject the idea of euthanize her whom the vet suggest.
and i like to say, "u r SO WRONG!"... they can survived frm this virus.
she's doing well until now... her legs getting stronger now.
i almost tear up when i bathed her the other day. she was lying helplessly in her cage although when i tried to let her out to bath. she's not even tried to wake up when i carried her. she was so weak until she's not willing to move a muscle. i thought she will be a goner soon.
it even breaks my heart when i bathed her, she was standing but collapsed halfway. i was forced to bath her in a lying position. i just tried to do as quickly as i can so she won't catch a cold not to worsen her condition. wipe and blow dry her.
it's a relieved to me yesterday, i bathed her again as she really smells (dunno why so, it's only few days past). she's standing all the while until the end. and i'm so happy when she jumps on me again after so long.... because of this disease. she's used to be an active furkid.
now she's come back to her normal self now. kinda. only that i suspect her sight is not really ok. when i put her out for walk, she still seems to run on things. i'm afraid she will have this as side effects of the virus. hopefully she'll recover in no time.
though am thankful already i did not lose her as well. not after losing Brownie.

Rainbow gets BETTER!!!
finally!!! after the loss of Brownie, after unstoppable prayer, after much browsing and searching, after much tender care and nursing, after lots of medication and vitamins, after weeks of waiting and hoping, after determinations...
finally, Rainbow's getting better!!!
i was more than happy and excited~ after so many of trying... which i always reminds myself not to GIVE UP! which i almost gave up several times... (and i'm glad i did NOT!) as i'm the one who fights for it. when everyone was like laughing and don't even care, when Rainbow herself not co-operating...
Rainbow gets more energetic now, eats more and her hard pad on her paws was getting peeled off. i think that's the sign of recovering...
but i still need to continue to take notice on her condition until she really recovers from this fatal disease of canine distemper.
but there's so much to worried more... i'm afraid some of her symptoms can't be cure. her hind legs are still weak and she kinds of lost balance when walking. and i'm afraid she will lose her eyesight (but fingers crossed hope it's not) as she's kind of can't really see. and the most worried part was i can't keep her with me for long.... (from what i read frm the internet) as she will be the carrier of disease. oh gosh... what should i do by then???
God bless me~

Rainbow gets DISTEMPER
i noticed Rainbow was caught up with the same disease with Brownie. her eyes started to have a lot of eye discharge and inflamed (red). i dun want if two doggie died of the disease which i have no idea of. so i insist my mum to drive to take her to the vet.
she was diagnosed with canine distemper virus when i take her to the vet at sabah medical animal centre (smAc) on Deepavali (it's public holiday, and the vet that i used to go did not open) no choice but to go there. and the vet told me it's not a curable and an airborne virus. i hate when the vet tells me only when i kept on asking and asking. it really annoyed me even when i asked a lot and she din seem to care to elaborate more but only answers the questions i asked (include if it's a curable virus). she's just so NOT the type i like.
it pissed me too when she even 'signal' to euthanize her. oh god! she's not helping at all. at that time, i really wish i was a vet then. and just only a little of medicine which i can get at any pharmacy that are much much more cheaper. it's just a small and only takes about a ten minute test and NO further ADVICE already cost me a hundred over ringgit! oh dear, i'm not working, man!!!
i'm happy n kind of relieved when this morning i saw Rainbow's bowl was empty. She finished her dinner! that was just so relieving as she hadn't eaten much pretty lately or even a single bit from her meal. this actually worried me every day... Her lost of appetite was due to this distemper.
another thing i was relieved was she pooped! i know it's not a big deal... but it was for me. she hadn't poop for like almost a week?... okay, mayb 5 days... i dun remember...
but still i hope her progress getting better... and i tried my best to help her fight this fatal disease.
praying hard n fingers crossed. hopefully she can recover. i will update her condition. will see how...
*recorrection :- after few days of observed, i realized that it's not really Rainbow finished her meal. it's the rats!! gosh... hate them! it just gives me high hopes. luckily i still make sure Rainbow did eat something during the day. there are so many rats coming out for food at night. and they take on the opportunity when Rainbow was so weak to attack them! they just climb right into the cage (not afraid of Rainbow) and eat frm the bowl. after so many of rat poison to kills them, they still happen to have...damn! i can't numbered them. how many r they??? grrr...
